I was about to say something very similar.
Also try removing the default value for the start date just in case ....

You are using Access 2013 - what about the other user?

Gosh, I didn't even check what version he is on, I send him 2013 so it must be that or higher. Altho this issue existed in 2010.

I did watch what he was doing and that is all he did, used the date-picker.

You also need to examine his Windows date settings.
