Question Hybrid - VB.Net application opens Access form and vicaversa

We have a very large and complex application. The plan is to migrate it to .NET
Has anyone attempted to use an application where Access would open up a .Net form and / or a .Net form open up an Access DB form?

With Dozens of complex forms connected to one SQL Server DB, wondering if the process could be done in a phased approach?
