keyboard problem - remote access (1 Viewer)

hi,

can anyone help/advise

i use a laptop to login to my works server from home, but when i do this the caps lock, shift key and numbers do not work on my logitech usb 102 keyboard.
and i sometimes have problems with the shift key on my laptop keyboard - as you can see i cannot input capitals at present.

our it guy said the server was not recognising the keyboard, but the same keyboard worked fine 6 weeks ago.
i have brought home my keyboard from work and the same thing happens, so i don't think the actual keyboard is faulty.
i have looked on the microsoft help/troubleshooting page and they suggest uninstalling the device in 'device manager', but as i am logged onto my employers server i am am bit nervous about uninstalling anything and because i work in finance and not it.

does anyone have any advice - i would be most grateful.

How are you remoting in? Are you using RDP to get to your actual computer desktop or are you using Citrix or Terminal Services?
