Need some help with bypass tray settings on Xerox Workcentre 7232 (1 Viewer)

The Workcentre is set to A4 paper size for the bypass tray, I want to print on A5 and I would've expected it to autodetect, but it just tells me to put A4 in.

I've been all through the settings in Admin mode and it wont let me change it. I'm beginning to think there may be a fault with the software.

Any ideas?

You should be able to force the paper size in the printer options - I don't know which menu option it is - I can find out tomorrow if you like or:

Try the print options through your O/S (Windows I assume) it should allow you to select a tray, if that doesn't work (I've got the same issue with one of ours at work) simply pull out all the trays, load A5 into 1 of them and it has no choice but to use the A5 tray .

Strangely enough.....I had another fight with it, got fed up and put A4 paper in the bypass tray, at which point it asked me to choose the size of the paper and gave A5 as an option!

I think that maybe it had not detected there was any paper in there at all the first time
