Hi all, I'm happy to be here and join the fun ;-)
I'm fairly new to Access but have some prior database exposure. I'm just now getting more serious about Access though. I have some basic sql experience and some basic VBA. This gives me confidence that I can do what I want to do, but probably not the way I am used to. It's been a while since I have done much with either so I am rusty and there are plenty of things I have already learned about access, some by trial and error, some by reading and some by Googling and forums such as this one which seemed to have one of, if not the best participants judging by the questions and answers.
Being in Washington I enjoy the cooler air and the wide variety of micro climates and all four seasons!
My favorite hobbies are:

Photography
Traveling
Reading
Learning
