Just to say firstly Sorry for taking so long to reply - time to work on my DB is "infrequent" to say the least!
However, after a bit of playing around with it last night, I have come up with a solution based on Mikes example.
So a huge thank you to all for your help (as always!!), and to Mike for his example.
Now to start work on the next part of it... see you all in a week or two when im stuck again
