Country-wide Store Inventory (1 Viewer)

Hey all,
I need a little assistance in creating a database.
A company has several stores across the provinces and territories (Canada only). All stores take from a common inventory of items but not all stores have the same items. The price for an item is the same in all stores. Also, items are associated with one or more categories.

We help those who help themselves. Even if this wasn't obviously homework, we wouldn't just take off and complete your database for you.

What we will do is help you with specific questions you have while trying to accomplish this yourself. So, let me ask you a question--what are you stuck on and how have you tried to resolve it?

You might try watching some free video tutorials by Dr.Daniel Soper that will help you with the concepts.

The Relational Model
Data Modelling and the ER Model

You may get some good ideas and techniques for analyzing your process(es) by watching some of the free "nuggets" from BA-Experts on youtube.
