Dear Sir Arnel,

Sorry, but there is still a problem..
Can you please separate the table 44101 with the table 33102 because the formula on both table are merge. I think you add the 33102 subform to Budget 44101.

Thanks.

It was nice of arnel to do your work for you and you may be happy at the moment, but you will have your hands full this fall when you try to make a 2019 budget. Using your current design, you will be recreating all objects or modifying them to be 2019 instead of 2018. So beyond the problem of having a different set of tables for each plant, you have the problem of having years in different columns so that changes all the queries as well.

You have designed the application as if you were using a spreadsheet instead of a relational database. It is important to rethink the design so it uses one and only one set of tables, forms, reports, and queries with the data shown on the forms/reports being controlled by a combo that selects the year you want to look at and another that selects the plant.

It is very easy for us to load bullets into your gun so you can shoot yourself in the foot. It is much harder for us to talk you off the ledge and completely change your design.

Did you not read what Pat has written?
You now have exactly the problem as described in post #26.

This is a classic case of putting a plaster over the open wound, without providing any stitches.

I'm in stitches!

I haven't been following this thread but from Pat's comments I understand you have the typical spreadsheet problem.

Therefore what I thought you might benefit from reading my blog about it here:-
