I'm aiming for the switchboard in my database to automatically open whenever a user loads up the database, can this be done with a macro or is there another method best suited to it?

Try using <Tools> <Startup> and then enter the name for your switchboard?

Actually, I believe in Access 2 and Access 95 the startup form option wasn't there and you had to use an autoexec macro to do that. Not sure about 97 though.

Its in Access 97 Bob -

Access 97 is pretty good stuff - I find there's not much I can't do in A97.
