Hi All,

I have a specific form with a combobox.
I need to add a field to the combobox, when I add the new column width, it gives me an error about property settings that must be from 0 through 22 inches, which I am.
I decided to redo the form, deleted the old form, and when I rename the form, I get a message that the form name already exists.
I also tried to import the form from a backup but after import, there is not such form in the object column.
What could I do to rectify.
Also did a compact and repair

Delete the form then do the compact and repair, then try adding another form.

Unless you physically can't don't try and call it the same name as the deleted one.
Once that works compact and repair again, then try renaming it back to your original form name.

You can also try a decompile http://www.fmsinc.com/microsoftaccess/performance/decompile.asp

If all else fails import all your objects into a new empty database.

Create a new database and import all into it except the problem form.
Then import the form from the backup.

Should that be a decimal point rather than a comma i.e. 2.5cm

Hi JHB
Yes I know that ... which is why I was asking the question.

Which is why I just cut and pasted what the OP had.:)

My point was that as far as I recall you need a space between the numeral and the unit of measurement.

I recall that in the past I had an issue when omitting the space and have included it as a matter of course since. I don't recall the specific issue. Testing just now I see your right.
