I have 4 tables in a database that started life out a linked tables. I want to convert those to local tables. And have done so by using the "Convert to Local Tables" option in MS Access 2016. In addition, I have exported all the data out of the the database into an excel file, deleted and recreated the tables.

The very odd thing is, they keep relinking to the original data source?

Has anyone ever had this problem? I have done a good amount of research, but have not found any mention of this in other forms. Just a How To on linking or converting to local tables.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated,

remove the Relation. compact and repair after deleting.
or you can just copy the source db and import all form, report, etc to it.

How do you do that? There is no relation between the 2 databases?

Thanks,

There are no relationships to delete, and I have tried recreating the tables and importing the forms, with no luck. The tables continue to establish a link to the original data
