what version of Access you have
if you have newer version, typing
Forms on the Criteria field of the
Query in design view, will bring
all forms in your db, and all fields
in that form.

so, if you already saved your form,
check its name on the Navigation Pane.
it will not ask any parameter if
the Correct Name is typed in the
Criteria even if the texboxname is
not correct. Also if the name of the
form has spaces between the wordings,
enclosed it in square bracket:

[Forms]![Training Statistics]![txtStart]

also on the form, make sure to format
your textboxes as Date (Property->Format->Format)
(short date, long date, medium date, etc).

Strange....it's the latest version of access and I went through the criteria and selected the correct form/textbox from the automatic list that it pops up.

Also format is changed to date on the text boxes?

???

on design view of your Query,
on the bottom window, DONT
GROUP the criteria, instead
on Total: Where
Add another CStartD and Group it.

This is the last solution, post a. Zip copy of db. I need only blank table concern and that one formform and the query.

You have a sub there on the form OnOpen. Remove this and replace with correct form sub, Form_Open

you have OnOpen event on your form.
that is not a valid sub and it
is causing the error.

the correct sub is Form_Open not OnOpen.
