I have a requirement to copy some data from one sheet to another and then do some formatting etc. on it.
At the moment the copy is manual from one sheet to another, but the formatting and sorting is scripted and working fine.
What I would like to do, is the user to click a button, select the file to open where the data is coming from, then select the range in that sheet that the data is in, VBA will then take over and copy it and perform the formatting etc.
The source file will have different names that don't match any naming conventions, and the data to copy will be located in different places throughout that sheet depending on lots of factors, so no hard and fast rules that could easily be applied to it.
Any thoughts?
