Problem with Access 2010 Runtime (1 Viewer)

I have an access 2003 database which is run using access runtime 2010 on Windows 10 PC's which works fine. I have setup a new PC in exactly the same way as the others and keep getting the following message 'you tried to run a macro or used DoCmd object in Visual Basic to carry out an action. However, (db name) is performing another activity that prevents this action from being carried out now. For example, no actions on a form can be carried out while inks is repainting a control or calculating and expression'.

Typo in last line...what is 'inks' meant to be?

What action is being run when the error occurs.
Can you also state the error number and show a screenshot for clarity.

One possible reason is a missing reference is triggering the error.
Are you able to test it using a full version of A2010 and if necessary update the references and perhaps convert to ACCDB

Inks is the name of the DB. If there was an error number i would have posted it! It is just opening the main login form which works OK on the other PC's.

I will try loading full access version and look for missing links.

You would be amazed at all the 'Does not work' posts we get here.

Yes, i'm told that 'it doesn't work' all day by users.

Turns out the problem i was having was due to a corrupt ODBC connection.
