So by referencing the column name (which I've renamed from combobox to "Parking Booked Col") has worked, but referencing the database field itself does not - is there a reason for this?

Hi. Glad to hear you're making good progress. It's hard to say why the other way doesn't work without knowing more data. For example, what is the Record Source of your Form?

You could try stripping out all the other objects not needed to troubleshoot the problem. Maybe you can just leave the one table and one form, if it works.
