I am a technical manager at a telecommunications company. I have been in telecoms since 1972, so I have really experienced the evolution that took place since the electromechanical era.
My experience in computers is roughly as follows:
Sinclair ZX81, Texas Instruments TI99A, Sinclair ZX Spectrum 16k/48K, Commodore Vic20, Apple IIe, IBM XT, IBM AT, etc.
MS-DOS, Windows 3.0, 3.1, 95, 98, ME, XP.
DBASE IV, Paradox, Quattro Pro, Office 97, 2003, 2007.
I developed my first Access application with Access 97. It was to control training schedules of personnel.
About 3 years ago I developed a call desk application on Access 2003. A few months ago I redesigned it for Access 2007. I am constantly making improvements. I am currently busy integrating our quotation system (which was done on Excel) into the call desk application. I also developed a stock control application.
I am hoping to improve my skills from the expertise on this forum
