technical discussion area (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I think it would be worth having a pure technical discussion area. It's clear from a recent discussion between myself and Scottgem that people have different views/opinions on the best way to implement aspects of relational database theory, system analysis, object modelling etc . I'm always willing to learn something new, believe it or not, and i think that a lot of problems people face in designing and implementing db's probably boil down to a lack of clarity about the under-pinning theories.

I do agree with Stoat, a technical discussion area would be an asset.
Related to that I noted that the forum's FAQ is rather limited and as a conclusion from technical discussions, the outcome of these might be
included in the forum FAQ.
