i don't know what it takes to add new forums or administrate them but i can't help thinking that some new ms access discussion forums would be useful. i think a lot of these issues get tossed in to the "general" forum but would be more useful if separated. in no particular order:
- DAO/ADO: what are the differences and which one should i use?
- Date/Time: all date/time related questions and issues, calendars.
(- Developer Edition)
- FE/BE: the what, where, when, why and how of front and back ends. connecting, replacing, developing, shortcuts, linked tables, etc.
- ODBC: connection strings, data link, dynamic, etc.
- Security: passwords, logging in, accounts, etc. what to do and what not to do.
- Upsizing: should i? preparing, wizards, pitfalls, etc.
anyone willing to put existing threads into these new forums?
