SteveHi is on a distinguished road
Checking MS Access for email address?

I am hoping to put together a form for users who have forgotten their passwords. There are different ways of tackling that problem, but I tend to prefer having a form field on a Web page that a user types his email address into.

When the user has entered his email address and pressed the 'Submit' button, the code should check in my MS Access database that
his email actually exists and then, using SMTP, a password reset link would be sent to his email address - in much the same way as this forum does.

What code (or tutorials?) would I need to verify that his email exists in the database, please?

Thanks for any help.
