My name is Karen and I've come here to gain some hints about what to do for a database I've been tagged to create at work.
I've used Access before, a number of years ago however. Now, I have to create a client management database that ties client records from two or three different sources. The problem: They have no common identifier between the three data sources that I can easily tie them together with.
So, I've begun work on the preliminary framework to just get the data loaded into a usable format in Access 2007. I've gotten a few things created and now I need to start planning more of the complex tools. (Well, not so complex, but just tedious.)
So, I've come here to get some ideas and tips to save me some headaches in the long run. I think just talking about this project with people that actually understand what I'm doing, will help me mentally.
