Those links look like they will solve this problem for you but in the future, when working with Excel or Word and trying to automate them from Access, you can sometimes get Word/Excel to generate the code you need. Just open the app and turn on the macro recorder. Perform the action of setting the watermark or whatever using the interface. Turn off the macro recorder and examine the code that was generated. Sometimes you can use it exactly as the macro recorder wrote it but sometimes you need to change it a little since the way you reference word/Excel objects from WITHIN word/Excel is a little different from how you would reference objects when using OLE automation.
