Qry locked for editing in subform (1 Viewer)

HI

I have an input form whereby i enter batch information for products we make.

I have a subform that summarises my recent entries which i then want to review and tick a tick box in each entry and then click a button to confirm all have been checked and can be uploaded to the proper stock system.

I can do the update stock click button bit. PArt im struggling with is my query that forms the subform wont let me edit any of the query and i need to edit the tick box to complete the rest of the process. I could create a continuous form but wondered if anyone knew why i cant edit a qry. Some queries i can edit and some i cant. bit confused.

I may misunderstood what you're saying but I don't think you can update a query that summarizes data.

Cheers JHB that helped me solve the problem. Was pulling in from multiple tables with multiple joins so needed to delete some of the joins.
