I am developing a Document Management System using data on sharepoint and MS Access as a front end. Part of this needs to scan documents and save them in a fixed repository.
I am experimenting with WIA to use my Canon DR-C230 scanner. I have managed to operate the scanner with the ADF and scan one side. But I am not managing to scan in duplex mode. Scanner scans both side in one pass.
I have identified the device properties 3086 - Document Handling Capabilities = 37, and 3088 - Document Handling Select which seems to go for duplex with value 5.
But when I am doing the image transfer it is giving me a catastrophic error message and so far I have not managed to fix this. I guess it is failing when it has 2 pages to transfer as one.
BTW I tried scanning both as JPEG and TIFF and with the same issue.
What am I missing? :banghead:
