I have an invoive that in this instange totals all the booked hrs and mins into one entry for the day see attached image

the cost is per hr and QT if the hrs and mins total booked for that day the total is what the client will be charged for that day

I may be going mad but it don't seem right so if somebody could give it a check i would really appreciate it.

its possible you arent seeing the entire number.
it could be 4.0154521
the cell just rounds to 4.02 as a display.

check that.

If 3.45 actually means 3hr 45min (3.75hr), the answer is correct.
Similarly with the others I expect.
Otherwise it's nonsense

Well spotted Colin, that would be very confusing to me. :D
I have used that format myself, but for me it meant 3 decimal 45 hours. (3 hours 27 minutes).

Another forum thread a couple of months ago had exactly the same issue so it was the first thing I checked. It was obviously not rounding error

Personally I would use 03:45 to denote hours & minutes or 3.75 to denote parts of an hour as its only too easy to get confused

Trouble I'm having is the invoicing system has to invoice per item or hours some invoices would include time on developing and additional full programs or other charges like training etc
