Im trying to use my database on two computers by way of a network. I've shared the folder on the network but if I open it on one computer it doesn't open on the other? What can I do about this?

Does everyone have their own front end? Are their front ends installed on their drive and the back-end on a shared drive? Is the database opening in shared mode? Perhaps the below will help…

Sorry to jump on the back of this but at my work we had a similar issue where user profile settings would only permit an employee to open an access db if they first opened access and opened it through file - open etc. If they didn't use this method it would only let one person in at a time, despite the fact I had done all of the above. Just thought I'd share that though a tad bit too late.
