Data type issues in forms (1 Viewer)

Hi,
I've been working on a database for a few years and slowly adding functions to it. I've come up against an issue I haven't seen before and can't figure out.

I'm designing a form using a field list from a query. The datatype for each field is set until I bring it into the form design. What should be check boxes simply appear as text boxes with a "true" or "false" value. When I go to the "Change to" option for each text box I am not given the option to change to a check box, toggle or option button.

The formatting did work for the first couple of fields but just stopped.

Any ideas to what I'm doing wrong??

Hello seanjmanley, Welcome to AWF..

Just delete the Control and recreate it using the Form design tools, and link the Control Source to the Field that is Yes/No type..

That'll work alright but I'm trying to avoid doing that as I've got a large amount of them to do. I think I'd lose my marbles if I had to to that with every one of them!
