Hello All!

I am new to Access and very excited to learn this new software. I am an expert in Excel and VBA coding so Im looking forward to getting proficient in Access and learning how to incorporate both programs in future projects.

Make sure to remember, that you need to forget anything you know about Excel in order to not polute your Access with Excel like solutions ...

Access is a world of its own, good luck on your future projects

well, may not EVERYTHING but about the structure of the data - YES, forget about that.


As for the VBA, it is handy to remember but you might want to read this article of mine just to avoid any "gotchas" when using Excel code in Access.

And one more thing - WELCOME to AWF.
