This banner (See attached) appears on every MS Office application and apparent doesn't go away until you update office to 2016. This started appearing on my system two days ago. I google this and haven't found a solution for getting rid of this other than upgrading. Any thoughts?

Thanks. I already tried the suggestion in this thread. It suggests changing the registry to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\office\15.0\common\officeupdate
Value name: enableautomaticupgrade
Value type: REG_DWORD
Value: 0

But mine is already set that way so it apparently doesn't control this banner.
