Data Validation - Different Workbook

Good morning,

I think i'm snow blind on this and can't see to figure this out today...

I have a workbook that has my master project list: EE - Projects
I have the data stored in a table here.

I have a separate workbooks to calculate expenses and timecards: EE - Timecards
I enter my data in a table here and use structured referencing.

I'm trying to use a data validation list in my timecard file to reference my project numbers but can't seem to make it happen.

Not sure how I can get the timecard file to see the project file. I have both files open.

Thanks for your time and consideration.

Have a look here

https://www.google.com/search?q=data...hrome&ie=UTF-8

You do not have to use a named range

Code:
='[Thomas Argos.xlsx]Sheet1'!$A2:$A12
will do just as well.
