How I Use Access User-Level Security by Jack MacDonald

PDF: How I use Access User-Level Security

I find myself linking many people to this guide, and seeing other people stating how they like it, I felt that this merited a mention here in FAQs.

This is by far the most simple, clear and concise guide to properly secure the database and the author does an excellent in exposing how things work and why it doesn't work.

So, read it, like it, love it, and read it again!

Re: How I Use Access User-Level Security by Jack MacDonald

Microsoft dropped User-Level Security (ULS) in Access 2007 and its successors, developers have been left to their own devices to figure out how to implement security.

I found this link via Google.
https://cardaconsultants.com/ms-acce...-security-uls/

The company has a regular blog at https://www.devhut.net/
