Re: Project Manager - Developer 2019

I've had so many requests for that login system from various sites that I'm considering releasing an updated version for a small fee!
This may include additional features such as:
a) Examples with different user-level outcomes
b) Additional logging of user info including application version, Access version & screen resolution
c) Logging of specific application features used by each user
d) Automated error logging including the ability to automatically email application error info to program developers

I already have these in my some of own apps and its very useful for managing issues for individual users

I now also have an Italian version courtesy of a user from Tuscany!

Re: Project Manager - Developer 2019

These two screens show the Maintenance Contracts and the schedule Calendar which shows when a contract is schedules so client's can be called to arrange a works date at present it only shows for all users but will when complete show for admin plus I'm thinking an employee department/Group Still putting that together in my head lol

the system will know when a new invoice is required to be printed/sent

Re: Project Manager - Developer 2019

I've been down this road before when I released the earlier version of this project back in 2007 so when somebody ask why it needs that I'm going to point them as this post.

CLIENT - EMPLOYEES - SPECIFICATIONS - CONTRACTS - PROJECTS - GET PAID - MAINTENANCE CONTRACTS - PROFORMING MAINTENANCE BY EMPLOYEES - GET PAID IF OUTSIDE OF ARIGINAL PROJECT CONTRACT.

there are a lot of bits in-between like dealing with clients and having records of those interactions.
the projects allow for a lot including outsourcing, using templates you may have built and include at a lower cost that it would be from building it from scratch (Don't reinvent the wheel),

when a project has begun you could get asked to make alterations/additions to said project if you have a specification/contract you will need an addition to them plus you will know what has been agreed.

There will be a help system on my site where you can get info.

If you don't like something, then remember you are not me we all do things differently but if you have input as to adding a feature that might make it better or adding to an existing feature, I'm all ears.

to those who don't like it I say don't use it you Havenít paid for it so don't rant about it.

to all those who have helped with coding problems, Features I say a big thank you.

I am writing this as it's moving along faster than I thought depending on hrs I can put to the project I'm hoping to do a pre-release early 2019 if you would like to help and receive a pre-release version please pm me with your email so I can send you a copy you will need 1000+ posts on here to be considered thanks

P.S. I have now updated this project to accdb and will be released as an accde the data file may or may not be protected by a password I am thinking of creating a way in the frontend for the addmin to be able to create that so you can link to the tables etc.

Re: Project Manager - Developer 2019

I have a question regarding specifications I have completed most of the coding with the exception of who did any editing I.E. was it a manager etc.
my question is I track all changes and create a sting of field names for the revisions list as in the images below but should I also copy the old value to a field so if a manager does not approve the changes They could restore said changes or is that just OTT.

Re: Project Manager - Developer 2019

I have now started adding the help system here
https://databasedreams.createaforum....nformation-21/

There is also a link added to the first post.

this help system will take you though the system as if you was the user.

I will add a list here later with a list/link to each section just in case you need help with a specific section.
