Prevent deletion of records on table

Within the web app, is there anyway to prevent deletion of a record in a table? For any given table, I have the 'List' view and the 'Datasheet' view. I can remove the Delete action bar button at the top from both, but the user can still right click on an entry and select delete, or highlight a row and click delete on the keyboard. Is there any way to prevent this?

Re: Prevent deletion of records on table

not sure if the property is available in web apps - but in standard access there is a property for the form on the data tab called 'allow deletions'. Assuming this is available in the web app, set it to No.

This will prevent a user deleting a record, but they can still right click on a control and delete the contents of the control (assuming it is editable)
A little thanks goes a long way. If you have found this post useful, please tick the thanks button
