I am new into Access programming and I have a problem where you may hopefully can help!
I have a problem with a combination field where you can select or enter Items which should be on the list. If the Item is not on the list I get a message displayed if I want to add them to the list, till that point everything works fine.
Now after saying yes I wanne add the item I would like to open a new form (works also, I have entered within the characteristics table the form Name for adding new items) and then I would like to get the Item I have enterd before into the comination field Displayed in my first field. This did not work and I don't know how to do. The two forms are combined with an 1:n assignment.
May somebody can help me to solf that problem ?
