How to set call serial number according to call date and time (1 Viewer)

Dear all,
i Have some customers call details and i want to set serial number in front of it. in excel it is possible with some formula but in access how it will done.
example is below mention..

If your data was loaded into the table in timestamp order, adding an autonumber column will give you a "serial number". Just keep in mind that you will have gaps if you delete records.
What is the purpose of the "serial number"?

actually this serial number is basically call number. after putting this if i want to see that these customer made first call to which number or what is the 2nd,3rd ...n called number i can see easily.
