Hello
Good day!
I;'m new in this forum. I have an access 2003 database for Contract Monitoring.
I would like a reminder, like 6 months before the expiration date. sample create a Notices:

  1. 1st Notice - create pop up reminder, 6 months before the expiration date.
  2. 2nd Notice - create pop up reminder, 5 months before the expiration date
  3. 3rd Notice - create pop up reminder, 4 months before the expiration date.
I'm not that advanced in programming but is there any way to do this and any code examples.

Thank you & God bless

Jun :)

Hello admorales, Welcome to AWF.. :)

It sure is possible, but depends how you would want it, in a Form or just a pop up when you open the DB.. A little bit more info will help us guide you in the right way..

Welcome! You've found a good place for this sort of thing.

There are three objects here, the table to store the dates, the AutoExec to run when the db is opened, and the module to store the code that runs.

Have a look at the code, I tried to comment it well; though I'm sure if this is new to you, it won't make sense. Feel free to ask questions.
