Oracle Views (1 Viewer)

Dear all,

My DBA has created two views in Oracle for me to connect to called vvvActuals & vvvBudgets.

The access system that needs to connect is a single mde file which is used by 40 users.

The last time I attempted this I had to change regedit setting on NT in order to limit the list of views and table in Oracle.

Has anyone done this before?

Typically we setup a userid that has access to those views, specify that in the connection and then you can only see the objects the ID has permission to. We use application userid's for each app to limit what it can do, and see. This works pretty good.
