Oh people, I have been given the task ( aint I the lucky one) of creating a scheduling database based on current WIP ( held on a table in excel) and qty held in another table. The task is generate a report which wil take in to account the current wip add the expected deliveries (quantity) and then issue a report detailing when the unit scan be done and which team in the factory.

I have already manged to aloocate different products using a quickly set up database and a couple of subform.

It a lot to ask I know, but if anyone knows of any shareware out there in cyberspace please forward on page link or any other info you could suggest. many thanks.

personally I think the role should go to an access developer, but hey 12 months ago the only windows i knew about were on my house
