Out of curiousity, is it better to store functions in modules or create a seperate .dll and reference it?

If security is not an issue, keep them in a module. .DLL's do bring a tiny bit of extra overhead, but that is not as much of an issue as security, or simplicity. I always opt. for simple as long as there are no other factors.
