Hi, I'm new to Access and I was wondering if it is possible to select an item multiple times on a drop down list on a table (where multiple items will be selected). Or if this is not possible, I would like to be able to write in the box the quantity of the item needed. Any help would be appreciated!

you can create Tables (transaction table on the demo)
to save the item and the quantity.

see transactiosn form.

Can you tell us something about the db you would like to create

@MelissaMuz Welcome aboard:)

Multi-value fields are not appropriate for your requirement. Experts don't use them for anything. In this case you need a child table and you need to use a subform to manage the table. I've attached a sample database that shows how to work with a many-many relationship.

Appreciate the help! I have restarted my database now lol. It will work much better this way
