    i know encrytion is a very poor security aid, but as a habit i had been using this way a few decades so the state had remained, time to do a review, now i just want to be able to look at my my codes without any encryption

    Thank you Gasman from Wales for pointing at the right direction, bullseye. Carelessly I was mislead by win 10 update to new version that removed the comma separator i set up in the previous version of win 10. Once the comma in place at Control Panel > Region, combo drop box is backed. Bravo

    To check later in regional settings, hope it can be fixed as many users reported this. How is result in your win 11. I presume you run my form in win 11 & things are good

    The issue is in form's combo box behaving differently in win 10 +-- win 11 with wring drop down. Open my form in win 10+ vs Win 7 you will see the odd behavior

    Gasman This time your passware changed R14a1PAY.mbd i downloaded cannot be opened with your usual PM password. ??? Did i get it wrong. Thank you for your help all the way.

    gasman another mbd to open vba, please Even i think i write down the vba password, msaccess can foul it up so this is another one of those to crack

    Brothers This is the one that Passware tell me there is no VBA password but still ask for a password. Can you give it a go to allow me access the modules.

    I finally concur even a VBA password should not be used. I came to this realization when VBA password was not found by Passware kit yet when I try to view a module msAccess still expect a password.

    I have a Passware version as in the screen shot. I just found the recover file menu option and it seem to work so all I can do for all my files ... if i use the Passware VBA generated password to open any one module and then save another new VBA password if i want still want this not so...
