Thank you both for your time. In a way, you both helped resolve this. I recreated the form from the existing form and only added the original 'add' macro. Seems to be working well enough for the end user anyhow and that's what matters.

Does the same thing on edit. I will work on that this weekend and hopefully post something substantive for you to look at.

I thought briefly it was the macro that might be breaking everything but I tried removing the OnOpen Macro and setting Data Entry to no like you mentioned and it still disappears. The button info in the jpgs.

I did try with data entry on 'No' but it still does not open. Data entry is required for the form though. I'd accept Split View if I could get the window to size right but it opens huge and nothing I have done changes that.
