    inconsistent state

Does that mean you are effectively running the FE over the wan like with Terminal Server and RDP? Apologies I'm not familiar with AWS. It just occured to me that if you were running FE locally to a remote SQL Server BE that's usually fine. But if you've got a hybrid BE with an Access db...

    Deploying Access with VBScript

I was wrong. Works in ISE. Screenform doesn't work if called in terminal. Still succesfully copies the files, creates shortcut etc. I'm tempted to remark out the winforms bits. Most of our users are IT engineers and tend to be a bit hasty and knowall. The completion form will probably be seen as...

    Deploying Access with VBScript

Works a treat. Apart from the winforms GUI. For some reason (could be our security settings GP) that assembly just won't load. Or at least loads without error and then won't run... I'm using winforms elsewhere not in PS so I assume the .NET bits and bobs are present on my machine. I'll put up...

Solved Log out when database closes using X

Which X ? The main Access window or one on a form? IIRC there is no trappable event when the Access window is closed. That X can be disabled forcing users to close via the form. But I've found some users then just use Task Manager to kill the Access task.

Getting the true location of VBA reference files in 365 ctr.

Agreed and I apologise to all and each for not being clear. Some of the screenshots came from my experimental/Dev machine which do not match the Production copy. All User client m/c's have the same refs, 365 build, W11 build and so on. There MUST be something different since some work and some...

Understood. I hadn't twigged that could happen when replying to a post that contains links. Makes sense now :)
