    No Minimize, Maximize, or resize

Ok, this seems really lame to have to post this but in Access2007 none of my form or table windows have Mininize, Maximize, or the ability to resize. There is a Close X but nothing else. Being used to Access2003, I am used to being able to resize the windows or at least minimize them. The...

Drop-down updating to subform: 2007 different than 2003

Wow. I never would have figured that out. So simple. I think there are 50 other posts on here that would have been solved by this without any me.requery stuff. You'd think the wizard would be better about making the combo box names available when you create a subform. Anyway, thanks for the help.

Drop-down updating to subform: 2007 different than 2003

open the form f_clients and change the company in the drop down box. It will update the subform after you click the little pencil thingy in the upper left but it only does that because I put =[Forms]![f_Clients]![f_Companies].[Form].[Requery] in the afterupdate event. I never needed that in...

Drop-down updating to subform: 2007 different than 2003

What does "properly" mean? I set them when I first put the subform on the form. Is there something else? Recall from my post that as far as I know, I did the same thing in 2007 that I did in 2003. I didn't have to do anything special to get the subform to update.

Drop-down updating to subform: 2007 different than 2003

I have a form "clients" with a drop down box "company". On the form is a subform "f_company" that shows all the comapny details. My issue is updating or refreshing or requerying the subform if I change the company in the drop down box. When I made this in Access 2003 it worked more or less...

    "error in loading DLL"

when I upgraded, I had it uninstall 2003 so I only had 2007. I ditched 2007 about 10 minutes ago and went back to 2003.

    "error in loading DLL"

I upgraded from Office 2003 to Office 2007. I have not been able to get Access 2007 to work right since the upgrade. When I try to use wizards (like combo box, or command button) I get the error "error in loading DLL". I looked in the forums and found the issue. The solution is to run these...

Upload a database to the web

know more now Thanks for the replies and ideas. I have continued to dig and know more now than I did when i first posted. First, I was not looking for free hosting. I have a hosting account on Godaddy as I said in the first post. I setup an application in Access. My idea was to connect this to...

Adding from subreports: how does this work

Again I do appreciate your looking at this. If you look in my original post =[time entries subreport].Form!Total_Labor+[Expense entries subreport].Form!Total_Expenses Is some code that worked, sort of. It worked when I ran my file with Access 2000. When I took the file to work where I have...

Adding from subreports: how does this work

I appreciaate your reply. If I add Reports! in front, it stops working. The issues was not spaces but where the .Form property comes from. I see no way to get a ferences with a .Form or .Report in the string. You have to add it manually. It is documented but not available in the expressiona...

Upload a database to the web

This seems like a basic question but I can not find a reference in the documentation. I have an Access database I have developed on my local computer. I have a webserver account on Godaddy. Is there a way I can just upload my databse files (tables, forms, reports) and run it from the web? How...

Adding from subreports: how does this work

In previous post, the problem was how to add two numbers from two subreports in a control on the main report. The answer was given as using this syntax: =[time entries subreport].Form!Total_Labor+[Expense entries subreport].Form!Total_Expenses This did in fact work for me. But I have no idea...
