I'm feeling dumb.... can't seem to achieve that. ACCESS needs me to open the file. I dont see the info tab that the manual is refering to. Using the windows CMD to say /compact to the database doesn't work either. It just tries to open the database.

I'm not really sure but i'll try to explain. I'm filling a couple of boxes using dlookup which didnt work when bounding it. And for some kind of reason i didnt get a new record everytime. Got tired of it and tried to do it like this. Now it works :)
