Is there a way to make autonumbering consecutive?

I was entering records using a form and all was well until suddenly the autonumbering went from 7 to 14! I went into the table and deleted #14 and tried it again - same thing happened.

See only one record at a time. Have to push the > on the bottome to go to next record. Its actually a list box and the control source is the name of the field.

I am looking at the form which is used for entering the data that goes into the records.

I don't know what a continous form is, but all of the combo boxes are bound.

How do I allow the user to select more than one answer in a combo box? It is a drop down menu with several choices. I'd like the user to be able to select more than one if desired and all choices would display when queried. Thank you much. :)
