Re: Stupid X or Stupid Me

I meant version of Access (2013, 2016, 2019), not your database.

I use Access 2010 and X close is still at right corner of Tabbed Document, not on the tab.

Re: Auto number Issue

Apparently wizard will create macro code which is why I don't use wizards - they do things I don't want.

You should learn how macro and VBA is created and where it is. It's really not that...

Re: Auto populate Fields

Probably possible. Programmatically generating unique identifiers is a common topic. Will require VBA code.

Appears you want to append letters as well as numbers. Why the letter B in the example?

Re: Get a weekdayname from a date

The results are consistent for me because I am in U.S.

I've never utilized date picker.

Use combobox and textbox AfterUpdate event instead of Change. The calculations will trigger when control...

Re: Get a weekdayname from a date

Your code should be:

Debug.Print WeekdayName(1)

Format() function can be used to return the day name of given date.

Format(Date(), "ddd")

Re: Form/Table get a MAX of a field based on combobox filter

Generating a custom identifier is a common topic.

Are LAIM and CodeSequence unique to each other. I mean, a CodeSequence will not associate with multiple LAIM? From what I see in LAims table,...

Re: Hide data in combo box that has been previously selected

Use code to set the combobox RowSource to more restrictive list for a new record or when component is changed. Otherwise, use the less restrictive list.

Re: Leave List as per Date Range

Don't see any difference in data samples. Desired results do seem to match the raw data input.

This is a fairly common topic: creating records from a range of values. It can be done by query but...
