Loop through all the files in the folder named as you require, copy each in turn to MyLinkedExcelFile.xls
That file is linked in your DB, then work on that table with a Dlookup or query. ?

No, have a record for each RecordID and UserID that is being marked.
So if a record is marked by 3 different users, you would have 3 different records. Then very easy to add another users marked...

Could you not just add the userid to the table and then return all checked for that particular userid. Reset the userid to Null when the checkbox is cleared.?

You are probably missing the Powerpoint library.

Go into the VBA editor (Alt + F11) and select Tools/Referencesand scroll down to 'Microsoft Powerpoint xx Object library' where xx is your version...

If Cillia is the name of the computer then I believe you will have to use

Debug.Print StrSearch and that should show you your errors.
If you cannot still spot the error than copy and paste into the QBE gui window.

Whilst MS have issued a few updates to cock up Access functionality, I've not heard of this one.

Yes, mine to, but when it is open there is a version prefixed with a ~$ in the same folder.
