Result: iif(isnull([SubQuery].[Record]),"",iif([Type]=1,[T1 Res],iif([Type]=2,[T2 Res],"default result")))

1. give your field names meaningful names - ID? ID of what? There is much debate about the suffix - my preference is to use PK and FK (primary key and foreign key)...

Re: Run-time Error 424

one other general point - your load event (I presume that is the one you are trying to call) is set as private - so cannot be seen outside of the form anyway.

Also - your second bit of code won't work - check out the code around msgbox.

Re: Help with combobox and list box link

Not sure why you need a listbox for this task since you are only going to return 1 row of data but you need something like this.

Re: How to stop field from calculating beyond the query it's in

Re: Update Empty Cells with Above Cell

looks like you have multiple ID's in the same field e.g.

ID1 - 1990025
ID3 - 1864529 1853686 1853703 1857246 1852582

As mentioned by others databases need an order - and...

Re: best practice for lookups in tables?

Nothing built in, you need to grow your own. Access can be made pretty secure, but as with all applications someone with enough determination can 'break in'.

You need to develop a security policy...

Re: best practice for lookups in tables?

tables should show data 'in the raw'. No formatting, no lookups etc so you can see what you actually have.

If you do format, use lookups etc you will end up with all sorts of confusion.

Say...

Re: access 16, audit trail table

unless you have dimmed EmplCode as a string and assigned a value then

Screen.ActiveForm.Controls(EmplCode).Value

won't work. it needs to be

Screen.ActiveForm.Controls("EmplCode").Value
