    Watercooler v political forum

I think part of the issue is that to post in The Watercooler, you don't have to scroll while you do for the Politics forum. Perhaps the closest analogy we have here is that there is a General section and a Forms section. If someone posts specifically about a Form in the General section, does it...

    Watercooler v political forum

This has been discussed behind the scenes before. One potential solution I came up with a while ago is after the topic has be discussed for a while, if it goes quiet, then move those threads to the Politics forum. They will no longer clutter up The Watercooler.

    How to Use ChatGPT

These chatbots are excellent at interpreting messages. I often put someones message in there and ask things like, "What percentage chance is there that this person is a sociopath, based on their message?"

    How to Use ChatGPT

I've watched a lot of his stuff, particularly his interviews with Peter Diamondis. I'm into futurism and the coming tech revolution and so this guy is right up my street. An excellent talker on the subject.

AI music generation is getting amazing. I created the following song for a friend of mine using a website called Suno, all free. She has a very fat cat and so I did a song about it. I gave some input, but AI creates the song and tune. I chose disco style. If you have decent speakers, with...

    One last time

It appears what I said has just flown right over your head. You are assuming there is price inelasticity, or namely, if price goes up, demand remains the same. But the whole point is that if price goes up, consumers switch. If Apple phones were twice the price of the Samsung, you seem to suggest...

Before tariffs: Taiwan TV: $500 China TV: $500 After tariffs: Taiwan TV: $500 China TV: $800 So, no one buys China TV's because they no longer represent good value for money. To export to the US, they have to reduce their price so that the cost + tariff is competitive. Therefore, they have to...
