    I have a table, that opens very slowly. As it does, the status bar indicates "Running Query". Why would Access run a query when I open a table?

    Memo Field not updating

    I have a bound memo field on a form. Once it gets over a certain length the users cannot update the field. The error is 3188 - cannot update; currently locked by another session on this machine. There are no other users in the database. If the memo field is short or empty, it gets updated...
